As an RVT, you know what a professional veterinary technician looks like, but so we can all be on the same page, successful candidates will be proficient in:

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint

• Knowledge of veterinary pharmacology and drug calculations

• Emergency and surgical care - including all aspects of perioperative care

• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work

• Venipuncture for phlebotomy and IV catheter placement  

• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff. 

• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
